Kishio Suga, moving beyond the concept of treating objects as subjects of representation, engages with the inherent modes of existence of pre-existing objects. He works by placing objects such as wood, metal, stone, paper, rope, concrete, wax, and vinyl in a space without altering them. The point at which he intervenes as an artist lies in the mediation of the intermediate space. His artistic world is created by freely allowing the essence to be maintained between visually imperceptible objects and objects, objects and space, space and people. Through such relational dynamics, the artist reveals existence in his created world.

물체를 재현의 대상으로 바라보는 개념에서 벗어나, 이미 존재하는 물체의 존재 방식 그 자체를 다루는 키시오 스가는 나무, 금속, 돌, 종이, 로프, 콘크리트, 왁스, 비닐 등의 물체를 가공하지 않은 채 공간 안에 배치하는 방식으로 작업한다. 그가 작가로서 개입하는 지점은 중간 영역에 대한 조율이다. 시각적으로 보이지 않는 물체와 물체, 물체와 공간, 공간과 사람 사이에 본질을 유지한채 자유롭게 방목되는 것, 이러한 관계성을 통해 존재를 드러내는 것이 작가가 만들어내는 작품 세계다.
